Handmade to order · one hook at a time

Cozy things, made slowly, on purpose.

Julianne Stitch Co is a one-woman crochet studio making amigurumi, throws, wearables, and home pieces — each one stitched by hand and shipped with care.

How each piece comes together

Round 01

Yarn is chosen by hand

Every fiber is picked for the piece it's becoming — soft cotton for baby things, chunky wool for throws you can disappear into.

Round 02

Stitched over days, not hours

No machines, no shortcuts. Each item is built stitch by stitch, usually over several evenings, start to finish.

Round 03

Finished, checked, boxed

Ends woven in, seams checked twice, then wrapped and boxed for its trip to your door.

The maker

Hi, I'm Julianne.

I taught myself to crochet from library books during a long winter, and never really put the hook down. What started as blankets for family turned into a small studio making amigurumi, throws, and wearables for anyone who wants something a little slower and a little softer than what's on the shelf.

Every order is made after you place it — not pulled off a shelf — so thank you for being patient while I stitch. It genuinely means a lot.

Care instructions

Amigurumi
  • Spot clean only, with a damp cloth
  • Avoid soaking — stuffing takes a long time to dry and can mildew
  • Keep out of direct sunlight so colors don't fade
Throws
  • Hand wash cold, or gentle cycle in a mesh bag
  • Lay flat to dry — chunky yarn can take a day or two
  • Fold for storage rather than hanging
Shrugs & Cardigans
  • Hand wash cold, or gentle/wool cycle in a mesh bag
  • Lay flat to dry, away from direct heat
  • Fold for storage — hangers can stretch the shoulders
Totes
  • Hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent
  • Reshape while damp, then lay flat to dry
  • Press out water gently — don't wring
